On The Road

One thing that I really love about being a musician, is being on the road. Sure, everyone loves there hometown gigs, but nothing beats being on the road, heading to new cities. I don’t need to be on a 50 stop tour, or on a fancy tour bus; a few dates in our smell van does just fine.

That’s one thing i love about touring, is the van. Ours is called “The Primetime” . No seriously, its called the primetime, and it says it across the front. The inside has 2 front seats, 2 bucket seats ( all broken arm rests), a back seat that reclines into a bed, lovely green suede interior, and to top it off is smell terrible. Nonetheless, the Primetime is awesome and we love it. The Trailer is a little sketchy as though, its a tin box with wheels… basically. I have this great idea to make a case for a TV and fit in the van for some back seat viewing. Stick a DVD player in there and of course the legendary N64 for some super smash bros and Mario Cart and were good to go! :) Who’s with me?
I love being in new places meeting new people. It is always nice to tour somewhere warm as well, especially when its crazy cold in Jersey. Seeing new cities is great, getting to check out some different cultures is very cool to see. Whether this gigs are bad or amazing, we always learn something from each one. The experience every time is alway amazing. Being with your band mates 24/7 can really bring a band together for sure. I have also noticed how each date on a tour, the sets get better and better. Its pretty awesome to see how playing that much really pays off.
So the Reason Why and myself have travels a ton on the east coast: VT, CT, MASS, NY, D.C, GA, FL, I have done some solo gigs across the country, but whats next? Where should we head? Tell us and we will meet you there!
Thanks for listening to me ramble,
Much Love!
