So about a few months ago the band and I had the chance to play with some pretty awesome people. This happened all in one night on one stage!
The day began with an early practice going over song after song to make sure everything was super tight. If we were about to play at The Monmouth County Arts Council in front of 4 celebrities then we were going to make sure we were flawless.
Now keep in mind, we had no idea how this night was going to pan out, so we prepared ourselves with a handful of songs that would please the crowd we were going to be in front of which meant a few Blondie songs for Deborah Harry. So you might have seen us cover a few reggae tunes or a few dead tunes but maybe not the something like The Tide is High or One way or Another. Kinda crazy for us right? We actually still play them because they are a lot of fun to play haha!
We went and set up for sound check and showed the council what we were going to play, they were stoked so we went back to the Mumford Lair and hung out and ate some munchies before we headed back for the big night.
The night worked out in our favor, we met some really awesome people, played with some really awesome people, ate some more really amazing free food, and Brian (bass) from the Reason Why got to show TM Stevens how he slaps his bass!
